As I have already told Johana, this was by far the easiest and most satisfying Airbnb experience I have ever had. To begin with I received very precise instructions as to check-in and how to navigate getting to the property. When we arrived the place was very clean, well-stocked and user-friendly. Through the stay she stayed in touch. We had some minor issues that needed to be addressed and she sent someone to correct them immediately--the gentleman arrived to the minute when she said he would. Her texts were very encouraging, and she showed a genuine interest in our family having a good time. We had a check-out time of 10:00 AM and the cleaners arrived at 10:03. This lady is PUNCTUAL!!! Just before I left I was cleaning out the fridge and dropped a dozen eggs on the floor. After I did my best to clean up the mess I told her what had happened. She was very gracious in her response. I simply can't say enough about how easy and satisfying this stay was. 5 Stars. 2 Thumbs Up. Excellent!

Miriam's was a cute little place! Nothing varies from her description. You do share the property, not house, with Miriam and her family. The main house is probably 100 feet away. The house was clean, and smelled great. The pullout sofa was comfortable, as were the sleeper chairs and the air mattress. The shower was awesome and she provided shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and washcloths. I would suggest bringing your own pillows, as there were only 4 rather thin ones (but looked brand new!). We have zero complaints about this place and the owners. We would totally stay again.

We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this home for corporate or relocation housing. We stayed several weeks, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The house was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the washer/dryer was a major convenience. WiFi and workspace were reliable, which made working easy. The outdoor space was a highlight—especially the patio and firepit in the evenings. We also enjoyed the trail behind the house and walks to the lake across the street, which added a peaceful, nature-focused feel. The neighborhood is quiet yet conveniently located.

Me and my husband loved this Airbnb! Daniel was a fantastic host and answered all of our questions. The area felt safe and peaceful. If you love to walk, the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The bathroom had Bluetooth music which was so nice haha! Will def be back!

We were looking for a quiet day away, just the two of us, and Ember & Oak delivered beyond what we expected. The moment we arrived, something in us just exhaled. The space is stunning wood ceilings, an open loft layout, and every detail thoughtfully taken care of. Fully equipped kitchen, coffee ready to go, wine glasses waiting. We cooked together, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the whole trip. But the patio at golden hour is where the magic really happened. String lights glowing, firepit crackling, nothing but peaceful surroundings. It’s the kind of evening you want to bottle up and keep. And while it feels completely tucked away from the world, you’re still close to shops and conveniences when you need them so you get the best of both. The host was warm, communicative, and clearly puts real care into the guest experience. If you and your person are craving genuine stillness without sacrificing comfort, this is the one. We’re already planning a return trip.

Had a great stay at Johanna’s! It was close to my brother’s house in Dallas. Check in was super easy and host was super responsive. The only issue we had was the outlets didn’t work in the bathrooms. Overall would stay here again.

The stay was great. Everything was better then expected. We felt right at home. The location was great near the lake, close to stores and restaurants. We did not have any issues during our 5 day stay.

Daniel’s place is AMAZING! We had the most wonderful stay. Our flight from the UK was potentially delayed due to storms in Dallas, but Daniel reassured there wouldn’t be any issues if checking in later due to delays. This immediately put my mind at ease and made me excited for our stay. This Airbnb was the perfect first stop on our Texas road trip, and it really made our visit to Dallas and Fortworth extra special. Thanks so much for having us ❤️

We stayed at Ember & Oak from 2/27–3/1 as a family of five, including three small kids, and had such a wonderful experience. Arrival and self check in process was incredibly easy, which made settling in after travel seamless. The space itself is beautifully designed with very tasteful decor and feels both cozy and thoughtfully curated. The property is perfectly secluded and peaceful while still being conveniently close to grocery stores and even Starbucks if you need a quick run into town. We spent every evening around the fire pit, which quickly became our favorite part of the stay. One of the highlights was taking advantage of the on call chef service, which was fantastic and made the experience feel extra special. The WiFi was excellent & made it easy to stay connected when needed, and we were genuinely impressed by the water quality in the showers, such a small detail that made a big difference. Honestly, the only problem we had was that we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend!
